While I’m a huge fan of moving away from the standard keyboard/mouse user interface model, the humor in this video about Microsoft Surface is impeccable.

What’s With the DRM Crowd?

June 1st, 2007 Ben Cecka No comments

According to a BBC article titled Anger over DRM-free iTunes tracks, the music downloading crowd isn’t happy with their new DRM-free music. The problem is that the person who downloads the track has personal information embedded into it. Maybe I’m a little out of touch, but I don’t see the problem with this. You want DRM-free music — you got it! Just enjoy the fact that EMI made a compromise that allows their property to more easily distributed and moved between players.

I’m not usually one to side with business when they are at odds with consumers, but this is a case where I think a reality check is needed.
